Sludge (Swarf) Extraction
By spinning a water-based sludge in any Barrett Sludge
Extractor for 15-20 minutes, you will typically remove all the
free liquid and reduce the wet sludge to a dry cake. (Oil-based
sludges typically require a 30-45 minute cycle time). Because
sludge applications vary greatly, it is impossible to say with
certainty how dry your sludge would be after spinning. It is not
unusual to reduce wet sludges to a 5-15% moisture level.

Centrifugal washing and drying offers a range of benefits
including typically shorter cycles, limited floor space, high
